What do Championship Gymnastics, Eagle Scouts, Academic Scholarships, the US Navy, Balboa Naval Hospital, College Education, Home Births, Exercise and Holistic based Healthy Living have in common?
A Practitioner, with a lifetime of positive, varied experiences, and dedicated academic background. All brought together combined with a compassionate education of his patients about healthy living, stems from his extensive education and 30 years experience, playing a major role in the improved health of thousands of patients.
His whole family is involved in chiropractic care and healthy living. His brother and Nice (will graduate in fall 2013) are also Doctors (DC). He and his wife jointly own and run their team practice in Westminster, Colorado.
Always active, Dr. Dale was a member of the Lincoln High School Gymnastics Team and later attended Colorado State University where he was offered a gymnastic scholarship. After college he entered the military and was trained as a Navy Medical Corpsman, specializing as an operating room surgical tech, treating critically injured soldiers medivac’d via aircraft from the front lines.
With an Honorable discharge from the US Navy, he knew he wanted to continue working in the field of medicine. He attended Logan University’s College of Chiropractic, in St. Louis, Missouri with his brother, Daniel. They graduated together and and had the privilege of practicing together for 15 years in South West Metro Denver.
Always the student, while in active full time practice, he continued to add to his education, earning several post graduate degrees; chiropractic orthopedics, acupuncture, anti-aging, regenerative/restorative medicine and most recently, Functional Medicine. He and his wife Cheri, have a practice in Westminster, Colorado.
Dr. Dales’ military experience fine-tuned his insight into veterans’ health and well being. He welcomes veterans into his practice and is active in the National Association for Veterans Business.
On a personal note, he is the proud father of four children (3 girls and a boy, all in their 30-40s now) and grandfather to 18 (not all blood related, but all loved as if they were). The girls were healthy and bright through their school years into adulthood, learning by example how important it is to follow a healthy lifestyle.
Once an athlete always and athlete, he is a Black Diamond skier, runs mountain trails and marathons (1990’s), and is a high altitude recumbent bike rider. He enjoys golfing, sailing and traveling. With his wife, they have sailed in the Greek Islands, South Pacific, Abaco Islands and South West Florida.
Dr. Baird enjoys playing his Martin guitar. In college he sang in coffee houses to earn extra money, and is a fan of Blue Grass music.
